Environment and Waste Management Training Series (Beytepe Campus)

In today's world, as the impacts of environmental problems on living organisms continue to escalate rapidly, developing awareness and consciousness in this regard has become increasingly crucial for individuals. Finding solutions to these problems is a matter that every individual should consider and strive towards. In this context, a comprehensive education on Environmental and Waste Management is planned to be provided by the Hacettepe University Sustainable Campuses Coordinationship. This program aims to provide Hacettepe University students and staff with the necessary knowledge, tools, and strategies to actively participate as individuals in reducing the impacts of current environmental issues. This training series, which will continue throughout the year, aims to cultivate a culture of sustainability and environmental management in campus life, thus contributing to a more resilient and sustainable future for future generations.

The training program, planned to be delivered by Prof. Dr. Sinan ERTEN and Environmental Engineer Ali GÜNER, is featured on posters. Relevant units are kindly requested to direct their unit waste coordinators (faculty and/or department) and their students and staff up to the capacity of the venue to the training sessions. Attendance to the training sessions is important, and e-attendance will be taken during the sessions.
