Collection of Textile Waste
The "Textile Waste Collection" event was planned during the European Week for Waste Reduction, organized by EWWR in cooperation with the Sustainable Campuses Coordinatorship and Hacettepe Environmental Society, between 19-27 November. The purpose of the event; to prevent reusable textile wastes from being collected and thrown away and to recycle them by means of yarn, fiber etc. through the relevant institutions.
A stand will be opened by Hacettepe Environmental Society in front of Beytepe Central Cafeteria between 21.11.2022 and 25.11.2022 for the purpose of “collection of textile wastes”. In this context, you are kindly requested to support the project by bringing all kinds of textile wastes that are in “Not Reusable, Completely Unusable” condition to the relevant stand between the dates specified.
Campus Cleaning
A "Campus Cleaning" event will be held on 24.11.2022 on the Beytepe Campus during the European Week for Waste Reduction, organized by EWWR in cooperation with the Sustainable Campuses Coordinatorship and Hacettepe Environmental Society, between 19-27 November. The support of all Hacettepe residents, including students, academic and administrative staff, is expected to the event. Since the planning of the event (location, bag, gloves, etc.) will be done according to the number of people, pre-registration is required. Registration is done via the link below.
