Hacettepe University Students Examined the Smart Deposit Return System On Site

At Hacettepe University, an informational event on the Smart Deposit Return System was organized with students within the scope of an elective course conducted by Prof. Dr. Meltem YILMAZ. During the event, students had the opportunity to gain practical experience on sustainability and waste management.

As part of the program, representatives of the Turkish Environment Agency delivered an informative presentation on the operation of the deposit return system, its contribution to recycling processes, and its importance for environmental sustainability. Participants also examined the system on site and received detailed information about its use.

The event, which aimed to support theoretical knowledge through field experience, contributed to raising students’ awareness of environmental responsibility, the circular economy, and sustainable living practices.
